How do you choose the right fabric?

Darker mesh colours are easier to see through, which keeps the lake view clearer. Lighter colours reflect more heat but can look more like a wall from inside.

For most lakefront outlooks, a charcoal or dark grey mesh is the sweet spot. It cuts the glare off the water and still lets you watch the boats go by. If privacy from a neighbouring deck or a busy foreshore path matters more than the view, a lighter or denser mesh gives you more screening.
